Greg Pataki M.D. is a general surgeon and plastic and reconstructive surgeon, who is an expert in fat grafting procedures used in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery.

He is Director and Founder of Premium Plastic Surgery in Budapest, Hungary. Dr. Pataki is also leading the Pediatric Plastic Surgery Division at the Pediatric Surgery and Trauma Surgery Department of the St. John’s Hospital, Budapest; his main duties are surgeries on congenital malformations and burn reconstruction in children.

Dr. Pataki received his medical degree from the Semmelweis University, Budapest. He completed his general surgery training and plastic surgery residency in Hungary and in Germany. He is board certified in both specializations. His international experiences include Germany, Ireland, Brazil, Holland and the USA.

Dr. Pataki is member of over 10 medical Associations and Societies including the European Plastic Surgery Research Council and the German Society for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. With Dr. Pataki’s over 25 years of professional experience, he has published in international scientific journals and given presentations in many countries and world congresses. He tutored English and German speaking residents and medical students at the Semmelweis University.

He is author of three chapters about Fat Grafting in the recently published Springer-Nature Book Plastic and Aesthetic Regenerative Surgery and Fat Grafting.

Along with his career in Plastic-, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, Dr. Pataki does philanthropic surgical work on children with birth defects and on others suffering from trauma or cancer. Dr. Pataki visits Bangladesh 1-2 times a year in the frame of his Charity missions to operate on children suffering from congenital malformations and burn scars. He was the Team Leader and Chief Coordinator of ‘Operation Freedom’, series of operations aimed to separate the a pair of Craniopagus Siamese Twins in Bangladesh in 2019.

Dr. Pataki’s Action for Defenseless People Foundation has been active since 2002 in Hungary and abroad.
