Dr. Jodi Schoenhaus is a foot, ankle and leg vein specialist practicing in South Florida. She is considered a leader and innovator for various procedures in her field specializing in fat pad foot restoration and vein care. Dr. Schoenhaus grew up in southern New Jersey and she considers herself a true Philly girl. After graduating from the University of Michigan studying kinesiology and human movement, she went to Temple University in Philadelphia. When got her doctorate she completed a three-year surgical reconstructive foot and ankle residency in the City of Brotherly Love.

After completing her training and establishing a scientific foundation based off of biomechanics, reconstructive surgery and research she moved to south Florida. In 2005 she opened the Foot, Ankle & Leg Vein Center with the sound principles on practicing with ethics and sincerity. She’s board certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery in foot, rear foot and ankle reconstruction. She is also a certified ultrasound sonographer for vascular imaging.

She is proficient in laser mechanics and techniques for medical treatments. Dr. Schoenhaus is a published author, national speaker, and educator. She has trained residents and has held preceptorships educating other doctors about her unique skills. She is a leader in restoration of foot cushioning to treat fat pad atrophy which can cause diabetic wounds and ulcerations and extreme pain and discomfort with walking.

She has helped athletes and people from all over the world who cannot find this unique service locally. She has developed an extensive medical tourism program to accommodate travelers seeking her innovative techniques and she has published numerous blogs and articles on foot pad restoration.

She has performed FDA approved granted research in the field using dermal filler‘s fat grafting and fat transferring. Her background in foot and ankle surgery and wound care has helped her establish a vein program dealing with vein insufficiency management of venous ulcerations and the treatment of varicose veins. Her vein clinic in South Florida is one of the most extensive programs outlining full protocols for patients and programs for their chronic venous insufficiency.

She is a consultant to various companies to educate develop techniques and protocols to expand patient care and comfort. Dr. Schoenhaus prides herself on practicing with ethics and sincerity and believes patient education is the key to great outcomes.

In addition to running a full time practice, Dr. Schoenhaus is the medical director of Shuzz. Shuzz provides new shoes and medical care for foot and ankle conditions domestically and internationally.

Dr. Schoenhaus along with Dr. Gold have also done missions abroad. She is also a Masonic Angel Fund Founder providing services to under privileged children in Boca Raton and Delray Beach, Florida.
